You can only hope to reap what you sow… your future happiness is in your own hands.
– Mother Gonzaga Barry, Eucalyptus Blossoms School Magazine, 1909 –
A very warm welcome to this new academic year to all members of our Loreto community. We especially welcome those hundreds of new students who are commencing their education in a Loreto school and their parents / guardians. We also welcome back almost 6000 students and approximately 1000 teaching and support staff across the Loreto network of schools.
For over 145 years Mother Gonzaga’s vision has shone through in the development of a holistic Catholic Loreto education aimed at empowering and encouraging students to use their individual gifts with confidence, creativity and generosity in loving and responsible service.
Loreto Ministries congratulates all students from the Class of 2019 on the excellent results obtained in their final year of senior schooling. Their results are a testimony to the high level of collaboration and strong partnerships between students, parents and teachers. These strong partnerships strengthen quality teaching and learning which is at the core of each Loreto school. We wish our 2019 graduates well as they embark on their future and prepare to go out into the world and make a positive difference in the lives of many people.
We thank the teachers and support staff in our Loreto schools for their professionalism, commitment to, and support of, students.
2020 heralds the fifth anniversary of Loreto Ministries. It marks a year of reflection and of joyful optimism as we continue to support the Loreto schools across Australia and the inspiring development work of Loreto Vietnam.
We look forward to reporting on our collective successes across the Loreto network over the coming year as we continue to achieve exceptional standards of education and provide leadership in response to contemporary needs under the guiding vision of Mary Ward.
