Special Education Programs

Loreto Vietnam’s special education programs help create and ensure equitable access to quality education for students with special needs.

Loreto Vietnam is committed to achieving the following outcomes through inclusive education:

• Effective early intervention programs initiated and strengthened through providing essential teaching and learning aids.
• Promotion of student wellbeing including physical, intellectual and mental health, through providing basic facilities for daily living, health insurance, nutrition support, and educational resources.
• Opportunities for vocational training programs.
• Improved teaching standards through supporting supplementary and advanced teacher training.
• Parent counselling services to facilitate improved educational and social outcomes for students.

Since 1997, Loreto Vietnam has supported nearly 30 special schools and centres reaching more than 4,000 students living with disabilities, including down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, hearing loss, and visual impairment.
