Executive Director Jaom Fisher is a qualified social worker and former migration agent who has worked in cross-cultural and refugee settlement contexts both in Australia and overseas, and in various capacities in education as a teacher and manager. She has been living in Vietnam for 7 years with her family during which time she has spent time as a volunteer for a number of organisations including Loreto Kids Charity.

Lan has 18 years experience in financial management, budget control and fund stewardship for prominent international non-governmental organisations including World Vision International, Medecins du Monde - France, and the Netherlands Development Organisation.

Quyen has 15 years experience in the design, implementation anmd management of educational projects of international non-government organisations including Plan International, Save the Children, ChildFund, and Room to Read. Her scope of work focuses on holistic and biligual education, child-rights based programming, teacher capability building, curriculum development, and child-friendly enviornment creation. Quyen has forged strong partnerships with local communities and provincial authorities nationwide.

Originally from Ballarat in Victoria - Australia, Trish has been in Vietnam for over 20 years. Since 1997 she has been the CEO of LVAP. In this time, Trish has administered some 73 projects through Loreto’s outreach – of which 32 have already become ‘sustainable’ – which Trish says: “is the outright vision of the Loreto Program – that Education Departments and local communities can carry on, maintain and uphold themselves”.

In 2005 Trish was invested with the Order of Australia (AO) –

“for service in the field of humanitarian relief and to the children of South-East Asia, particularly in Vietnam, through the establishment and administration of education and welfare programs.”

Honorary Medals were also awarded to Trish by the Vietnamese Government in 2000, 2004 and 2007.  In 2010 Trish was presented with the Paul Harris Fellow (Rotary Foundation of Rotary International).

In March 2013 Trish – CEO -  was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Australian Catholic University (ACU). The citation reads:
