During our recent field trip in Ca Mau Province, we came across this local Health Clinic in front of a poor Primary School.  Seeing this, we all reflected about the life of needy people here; even the basic health care service is really rundown and has never been taken great care of…

In the eyes of a child,

There is joy and there is happiness

There is hope and there is no pain.

In the eyes of a child,

All things are fair and all people are equal.

The world is round and future is bright.

So, come here my child,

Let my love fill your heart.

Let my care lead your eyes.

Let’s take a rest and tell me,

“What is the story behind your eyes?”

An Giang Province - June 2015

Hello Summer Break!!! How many votes will this scrumptious, grubby rural kids couple get for their dapper “going-to-school-attire”??!?? School clothes vary here and there, and “school fashion” certainly has no boundaries!!!!!

Kate Craig – Loreto Kids Charity wonderful AVI (Australian Volunteers International) volunteer for the past two years has given so totally to her tasks of teaching English to ‘our’ vision-impaired kids at the School for the Blind. All kids have surpassed skills as proficient speakers and have even moved into curriculums for the next School Year. The kids are sad to see “Ms. Kate” leave and are giving many speeches: ‘When we made mistakes you forgave us’. The image shows the kids playing (braille) Number Bingo. THANK YOU Kate!
