Most projects of LVAP are now completely in remote, far-away regions – often requiring two days for a field trip. It is not often convenient to include visitors in these journeys.

At times LVAP can accompany visitors to nearby projects – though this involves complex procedures of paper work to attain permission from Education Department authorities. These approvals must be negotiated many weeks beforehand. Unless some ‘hands on’ is possible, (e.g. assisting at bike distribution days) then LVAP is reluctant to interrupt normal school routines and class schedules – a consideration of our courtesy towards the school, teachers and children.
